Yogendra Yadav Center for the Study of Developing Societies, India Mr. Yogendra Singh Yadav started his carrier as a political scientist in December 1985 as an instructor. In 1993 he joined the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi. Since 1994 he has been a Fellow at the CSDS and is currently the Director of Lokniti, Institute of Comparitive Democracy at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies. In 1995 he founded the Lokniti network, which is an all-India collective of scholars of Indian politics. He designed and co-ordinated the National Election Study, 1996-99, the largest-ever academic survey of the Indian electorate. He has presented numerous papers in India and around the world. In 1994 he was nominated as a member of the Indian Delegation to observe elections to German Bundestag by the Indian Council of Social Science Research. |
